Emirates Stadium is a blog to celebrate Arsenal FC’s brand-new football ground; The Emirates Stadium.
The club decided to move from Highbury to a new ground in 1999 since the Highbury seating could hold just 38,000 fans, so with housing stopping future developments of Arsenal Stadium, Ashburton Grove was constructed and then opened in 2006 under the name of Emirates Stadium - called that because of a naming rights sponsorship with the stadium with Airline co. Emirates.
This blog will hopefully be a ‘timeless’ blog if you get what I mean, As we do not really follow Arsenal news as per say the blog will never become outdated, But that does not mean I will not stop posting new bits and peices on the site.
Thanks a lot for Reading, and keep having a look around Emirates Stadium!
